PPC S.A. (“PPC”) announces the completion of the transaction for the integration of a RES project portfolio in Poland, following the strategic agreement signed on August 7, 2026 for the acquisition of ABO Energy’s subsidiaries in Poland and Hungary, with a total RES project portfolio of over 2 GW.
PPC acquired in Poland seventeen (17) subsidiaries from German-based ABO Energy GmbH & Co. KGaA, which hold a RES project portfolio with a total capacity of up to 1.2 GW (photovoltaic, wind and storage). Out of these projects, a solar park with a capacity of 17 MW is already under construction, while the remaining of the portfolio is at various stages of development. Furthermore, the transaction brings into the Group a local project development team with significant expertise and deep knowledge of the Polish market.
The completion of the transaction for the portfolio in Hungary, with a total capacity of approximately 1.1 GW, is subject to the satisfaction of customary conditions precedent for transactions of this nature, including, among others, obtaining the necessary approvals from the relevant supervisory authorities and is expected within the fourth quarter of 2026.
