PPC S.A. ("PPC") announces the completion of the transaction for the acquisition of a RES portfolio with a total capacity of 277.3 MW in Poland, following the agreement signed on July 31, 2026, with EDP Renewables Polska Sp. z o.o. and EDP Renewables Polska HoldCo S.A.
The portfolio includes 175.4 MW of operational assets, of which 130.5 MW are wind farms in the regions of Ilza, Tomaszow, and Poturzyn with high-capacity factors of up to 33%, and 44.9 MW are solar parks in Pakoslaw and Recz, which benefit from long-term fixed-price contracts for their initial years of operation. Additionally, the portfolio includes two solar projects under development with a total capacity of 101.9 MW, expected to become operational in 2029, utilizing the cable pooling model and sharing grid connection infrastructure with the existing wind farms.
With the completion of this transaction, PPC Group strengthens its presence in the Polish RES market, as part of its 2026-2030 Strategic Plan for geographic expansion and the reinforcement of its green portfolio across Central and South-Eastern Europe.
